We all love this Seated Leg Cradle stretch at HDX Fit… not only for its awesome hip-opening and glute stretching powers, but for how awkward it looks when executed. It’s safe to say we all need to show our gams some good old fashioned TLC after bootcamp, so here’s your opportunity to hug it out.
Seated Leg Cradle Instructions
– Sit on the floor with legs straight in front of you, hip-width apart.
– Bend right knee into your chest and hold on to your calf with your right hand.
– Support the right ankle with your left hand and bring it towards your chest…. Literally as if you were cradling a baby.
– Keep your chest lifted and glutes contracted. Be sure to breathe deeply throughout stretch.
– Repeat on other side!
