An Orange County secret, Exposed!
DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE
This is THE SPOT, that no one wants you to know about because of the exclusivity of this place!
It’s only open a certain time out of the day so people are trying to fit themselves in.
A place to take a date! 😉 or to take your partner away from your typical Friday nights at T.G.I.F.
I will warn you now, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT show up without making a reservation.
If you guys have ever heard or have ever been to “Speakeasy” in Old World Huntington Beach, then you should know all about the deliciousness of the food.
Well, the same exact chef who opened up Speakeasy is the same exact Chef who opened up Ms. Alice.
Aside from the food, the vibe and the ambiance is amazing.
I don’t want to expose the restaurant completely and ruin it for all of you.
The vibe at Ms. Alice is tad bit different than most places to eat in the fashion that it steers away from your typical mainstream restaurants.
First time I went there I ordered something with vodka and wanted a Greygoose and there was none to be found.
Drinks there, in my opinion are the one of the best in Costa Mesa, maybe even in Orange County!
Medicine Man seems to be what people rave about and I get it because it’s definitely my favorite!
If you are a bourbon person, then they got you. Bourbon, Lemon, Ginger and Honey.
The food, barely any competition. You all need to understand that I am simply NOT condoning eating really yummy and unhealthy food, I’m just sharing my experience. =)
The Baked Brie Bread would definitely be my go-to appetizer. Clover Honey, Sliced Rosemary Almonds and Sea Salt. I won’t say nothin’ else.
The Skirt Steak would be next on the list. I don’t know what it is with this plate but it is delicious! It’s gotta be the Thai Basil Chimichurri.
And of course, to end the night with some Vanilla Crème Brule (I don’t eat this) =)
There you have it, I just made your visit easy for you by giving you the recipe to a perfect experience out at Ms. Alice.
Check it out and find out while “Down the Rabbit Hole” seems to be the slogan for this little Gem in Orange County.
